Reinhardt College's Public Safety Institute Initiates New Partnerships

The Public Safety Institute of Reinhardt College will provide basic certification and degree programming that would keep first responders including fire fighters, law enforcement, emergency medical personnel and military personnel updated and ready.

The initiative begins with a partnership between the College and a coalition of five cities: John's Creek, Alpharetta, Milton, Roswell and Sandy Springs, plus Cherokee County and other interested communities in the Northern Crescent. The PSI will work closely with the five-city coalition, Cherokee County and with the state and federal Homeland Security departments to develop and enhance the region and state's on-going educational and technical needs to provide proactive protection to the public through first responders.
