Calmus, A Cappella vocal ensemble

Formed by members who sang with the St. Thomas Boy's Choir in Leipzig, Germany, and the Children's Choir of the Middle German State Radio Network, this group of refined artists has entertained audiences from all around the world.  Formed in 1999, with the addition of Anja Lipfert, soprano, in 2001, this group performs extensive repertoire. Audiences will hear music ranging from the Gregorian period, to Palestinian, Bach, Verdi, and contemporary sacred music.  They also have a great variety of profane music extending from madrigals to folksongs and rock.  Adding their personal touches, Calmus gives a unique performance that is sure to impress!
