The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will open the 2012/13 concert season at Reinhardt University's Falany Performing Arts Center on August 3 at 8:00 p.m.

The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will present the Falany Performing Arts Center's inaugural concert, setting the tone for an exciting concert season.  As the leading cultural organization in the Southeast, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra serves as the region's cornerstone for artistic development and music education.  Beginning its 68th season in 2012, this is one of America's leading orchestras.  

Robert Spano, Music Director, is beginning his 11th season with the Orchestra.  Mr. Spano has conducted more than 100 concert featuring contemporary works (composed since 1950), including 16 Atlanta Symphony Orchestra-commissioned world premiers, and five additional world premiers.
