Come and Experience an Amazing Week of Musical Theatre with working Professionals from Atlanta, Houston, Chicago and New York City!
Learn Broadway performance techniques in Acting * Stage Combat * Dance * Music * Auditioning for the Musical Theatre culminating in a Showcase Revue Performance at the end of each camp week.
Program Tuition: $350 per week* for students in grades 8 to 12.
Program Dates: July 14-18 from 9am to 4pm daily.
Performances: July 18, 6pm in Hoke–O’Kelley Auditorium
*Lunch is included. Space is limited.
Scholarships are available. Scholarship application deadline was June 1.

Julie Bearden Carver
Julie Carver Camp Coordinator, Musical Director
Julie Bearden Carver has been with Reinhardt since Fall 2013. Regional MD credits include: The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Secret Garden, Seussical, She Loves Me, Curtains and It’s the Talk of the Town: A Tribute to Jerry Livingston - which she created in New York City. She was Assistant MD of the national Equity tour of The Sound of Music. As collaborative pianist, Julie recently played for the NATS National Conference in Orlando, for the NATS National Musical Theatre Competition and for workshops with Nathan Gunn, Broadway and Disney casting directors and producers. Credits include Piano 1 for Mary Poppins (Broadway), various AEA auditions, classes at NYU and Columbia as well as performances at Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall (Lincoln Center) and the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra (FL) with several notable artists including Andrea Bocelli, Eric Whitacre, Joseph Martin, Christiane Noll, Judy McClane, and Bernadette Peters. Julie lives in Cartersville with her husband Bryan and her three children Sydney, Ayden and Olivia.
Stewart Hawley Acting, Stage Combat, Movement
Stewart Hawley originally hails from Texas where he received his Bachelors in psychology and Masters of Fine Arts in theatre-directing from the University of Houston. Stewart did his acting internship with the AD Players and then went to Chicago and studied the Meisner acting method with Dan LaMorte. He then traveled to Atlanta and worked at the Alliance theatre in their Directing internship program. He then went back to Houston and worked as a professional actor and teacher. After several years he left Texas and went to Ohio to work on his PhD in theatre. This past summer Stewart earned his Certification as a Stage Combat Instructor with the Society of American Fight Directors. Stewart has worked as an actor with New Stage in Jackson, Ms, the Barn Theatre in Maine, the AD Players in Texas and Six flags theme parks in live action shows such the Police Academy stunt show and the Batman stunt show. He has been married for twenty years and has two girls.
Tiffany Tindall Dance, Choreography
Tiffany Tindall is new to the Reinhardt University Staff. Earning a degree in Dance Education from the University of Georgia in 2000, Tiffany went on to earn both an M.Ed. and an Ed.S. in Educational Administration in 2005 and 2007. She performed with Dancer's Pointe Studio, the University of Georgia's Dance Department, and the Atlanta Ballet's Nutcracker among other venues. She has taught dance both in the Cobb County Public School System, and in several private studio settings, such as Steps of Faith Dance Company where she currently teaches. She lives in Cartersville with her husband Jeff and her two children Elyse and Jacob.
Lauren Friday Camp Assistant
Lauren Christen Friday graduated from Reinhardt University with a degree in BFA Musical Theatre. She teaches acting and improv at Off Broadway Dance Studio in Alpharetta and works for Urban Enterprises and will be teaching theatre camps for Tacoma Metro Parks: School for the Performing Arts in Tacoma, WA. For the past two summers, Lauren traveled with The Missoula Children's Theatre, based out of Missoula, Montana. Credits include: Rona Lisa Peretti (The 25th...Spelling Bee), Carmen Bernstein (Curtains), Beatrice Lacey (Rebecca), and The Witch (Into The Woods).
Hannah Craton Camp Assistant
Hannah Marie Craton is a rising junior at Reinhardt in Musical Theatre. Credits include: Claire (Proof), Ursula (Much Ado About Nothing) and Carrie (Carousel). Hannah enjoys writing shows and music. In the past two summers, she has written, directed or assistant directed, and performed two shows, which were the comedy mini-musical Grace At Its Finest and the dark fairy tale Root of All Evil in Act 1 Inc.'s Summersplosion where Hannah was elected into leadership positions by other company members. Hannah has also assisted with the middle and elementary school theatre camps at Cartersville's Grand Theatre and assisted and participated in Every Childs a Star.
Dave Nisbet Theatre Program Coordinator
Dave Nisbet is the theatre department coordinator at Reinhardt and received his B.A. from Millikin University and his M.F.A. from Illinois State University. Prior to Reinhardt, he taught at Shorter University and Columbia College in Chicago. At Reinhardt, he has directed Almost,Maine, Annie Get Your Gun, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He had the privilege to be a professional actor/director all over the United States and served as artistic director of the Phoenix Theatre in Chicago. David has been seen in numerous feature films, commercials and corporate films. David and his wife Jan have two sons.
