Pre-NursingReinhardt's associate degree in pre-nursing was originally designed in cooperation with Emory’s Woodruff School of Nursing B.S.N. degree. Our program is the first part of a four year academic program, not a two year technical degree. Once you complete the academic core and nursing basics here, you will receive your A.S. degree. You will then go to another institution for the two-year clinical portion and completion of the B.S.N. degree. If you are looking for a two-year program and learn just enough information to sit for the licensing exam, you should consider another school. Effective PreparationReinhardt's program requirements are challenging enough to ensure tha you will be fully prepared to successfully complete the remainder of the B.S.N. program at the school of your choice and for the responsibilities of clinical nursing practice.
Small ClassesReinhardt’s pre-nursing courses are small, so you can develop personal relationships with your classmates and professors. The learning community at Reinhardt College allows you to get the individual attention you may need to succeed. Cooperative Arrangements with Other SchoolsOur agreement with Emory’s Woodruff School of Nursing gives Reinhardt graduates preferential access to the top clinical teaching school in the region. If you prefer a smaller more intimate environment, we also have an agreement with LaGrange College. Recent graduates have also continued their studies at Kennesaw State University, Medical College of Georgia, Georgia State University and Mercer. Let me know if you need any more information or if you would like to make an appointment to talk face to face.
