Associate Degree in Fire Management
An Associate of Science in Fire Management will prepare you to excel and advance in the career field of firefighting.
This degree program addresses the need to provide the community with trained professionals who can provide leadership and reduce the human and economic impact of fires in their communities. Trained, educated fire fighters also play a pivotal role in Homeland Security. It is estimated that more then 500,000 trained professionals will be needed in six years.

Course scheduling is designed to be flexible due to the uncertainty and time demands that many public safety professionals face in today's world.
Meets recognized standards
The major required and elective courses in the fire management program are derived from the model curriculum adopted by the Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) network. The FESHE was established by U.S. Fire Administration's National Fire Academy (NFA), a part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
How Can I Use this Degree?
Upon graduation, you may choose to apply your skills in all levels of structural firefighting, disaster planning and recovery, urban search and rescue, emergency medical services, or incident command.
