New Student Orientation
Reinhardt University is excited for you to join us for the New Student Orientation (NSO) process. NSO is a multi-step process for all new students. The purpose of NSO is to ensure that your transition into college is one that is seamless and stress free.
Attending the New Student Orientation event provides new students the opportunity to:
- Make meaningful connections with faculty, staff members, and other new students.
- Learn about academic and student life resources.
- Gain insight into the campus community.
- Learn what it means to be an Eagle.
- Help you find your place in our community.
We want you to feel at home here at Reinhardt University. Below you will find a brief overview of what to expect during each part of the orientation process. New Student Orientation multi-step process is required for all new students:
- SOAR (Initial orientation event invitation will be emailed to the student)
- Advising & Registration (Meet your advisor and register for the first semester)
- Flight School (New Student online training)

Please Note: All incoming main campus students to Reinhardt University will be charged a New Student Orientation Fee of $175 that covers the entire orientation process including new student orientation event (SOAR) and new student online training (Flight School).
Get Flight Ready!
Reinhardt University’s Flight Ready program helps students and their families with all aspects associated with becoming a Reinhardt student. You’ll visit with each office to ensure everything is ready for take off at Reinhardt.
