The Funk Heritage Center on Reinhardt University’s campus is excited to once again provide an in-person summer program this June. Designed especially for kids, attendees will learn about nature and the Cherokee culture:
- Plant and harvest crops in the Three Sisters Garden
- Study and learn to identify local trees and leaves
- Learn about birds and build their own birdhouse
- Learn Cherokee legends, games and music
To encourage those to continue practicing what they learn during the program, each participant will take home a native plant!
The summer program is June 8-10 from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm at the Funk Heritage Center:
- Eligible for ages 7-11
- Program fee is $65 for non-members and $55 for members
Make your reservations before June 1 by calling, 770-720-5967.
