October 13, 2021 marked an important, environmentally friendly day in Reinhardt’s history. Distinguished guests honored our campus with the installation of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations: Dr. Robert Keller, Atlantic Coast Conservancy; Tricia Pridemore, Chair of the Georgia Public Services Commission; Jeff Butterworth, Georgia Power Area Manager for Cherokee County; and Frank Woodling, EnviroSpark Chief Financial Officer.
The EV charging stations were made possible by Georgia Power’s Make Ready grant and a generous donation from Dr. Robert Keller. They are fully charged and are ready for use! Find them near Roberts Hall, Tarpley Education Center, and between the Funk Heritage Center and East Apartments.
“It was Victor Hugo who said ‘No idea is more powerful than one whose time has come.’ This is an idea whose time has come. Please take advantage of this. There’s nothing that is ever going to be bad about trying to make the environment a little bit better.”- Dr. Robert Keller
