The fall 2023 semester’s Welcome Week is in progress for over 1146 students and 75 full-time faculty. Approximately 462 new students began their journey at Reinhardt this week. This includes first-time freshmen, transfer students, and dual enrollment students.

Reinhardt’s solid enrollment caused dorm capacity to reach ninety-two percent with over seven hundred students living in campus housing. All students will have access to upgraded internet capabilities and faculty will find new computers in their classroom workstations.

After a successful weekend of Eagle Bound events and campus move-ins, classes resumed Monday. Thursday night, new students participated in the annual induction ceremony. The 24th annual formal tradition included singing the Alma Mater, learning about traditions, and receiving welcoming words and advice from President Roberts and other distinguished guests. After being inducted, the class of 2027 signed the Honor Pledge, participated in a new candlelight procession, and rang the bells of the Bratton Carillon.

Friday night August 18th, there is a disco in the Bannister Glasshouse and the week concludes with a block party on Saturday which includes a foam party, mechanical bull, and bubble soccer.
