President Mark A. Roberts, Ph.D. was invited by Senator Raphael Warnock to attend a “constituent coffee” at the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.
Reinhardt’s professor of cybersecurity, Kelley Roberts (and First Lady) joined Dr. Roberts on the trip last week. Both had an opportunity to meet with Senator Warnock and his staff to share how Reinhardt University is contributing to workforce needs in Georgia through its Cauble School of Nursing and its industry-approved cybersecurity curriculum.
The meeting afforded Reinhardt the opportunity to advocate for support of private higher education and seek avenues for funding the good work in the areas of healthcare and cyber education.
