Zach Felix
Dr. Zachary Felix is a broadly-trained organismal biologist and educator. In the academic realm, he has taught a wide variety of classes ranging from non-majors introductory classes to upper level zoology and biometry classes. He’s administered a dynamic biology program at a Reinhardt University, coordinating schedules, fostering student development, and assessing our success at fostering student learning. In addition to education, Felix is passionate about documenting biodiversity and slowing its loss. He has studied giant salamanders in Japan, frogs in China, rattlesnakes in Aruba and many local groups. Currently, his interest is held by land snails and mushrooms. He and his family sell wild mushrooms at local farmer’s markets during the summer.
