As the Reinhardt community gears up for Homecoming and Family Weekend, fun events took place throughout this week. Students participated in daily dress-up themes including professional sports day, pajama day, pink out for breast cancer awareness, camouflage day, and wearing blue and gold to show their RU spirit. Canton City Lifestyle magazine held a scavenger hunt which stirred extra excitement as students pursued a cash prize.
Evening activities included a wrestling exhibition and basketball moonlight madness where skill competitions impressed the audience. The winner of the dunking contest, Brasen James (RU-2027) lept over three grown men!
A trivia dinner and a pep rally on Friday night culminate the week of school spirit. Saturday’s Reinhardt Eagles football game follows tailgating and pre-game events. Half-time features the Screaming Eagles Marching Band and the crowning of the homecoming king and queen. Volleyball and soccer games round out the day, followed by a dance party for students.
Prospective students have an ideal opportunity to experience campus life on Saturday at Discover Reinhardt where they can walk the halls, meet faculty, and enjoy a BBQ lunch as well as the games.
