North Georgia’s children’s choir, the Young Singers of Flint Hall (YSOFH), will perform at the Falany Performing Arts Center on November 21st at 7:00 p.m. Hosted by Reinhardt University and led by Dr. Martha Shaw, the choir is thriving in its second year. It is over 30 members strong, with about half who are new this season.
This children’s treble choir offers singers ages 10 to 14 the unique opportunity to strengthen their talents, perform on a larger scale, and enhance their lives. Dr. Shaw explained, “I have seen them grow musically, in pitch matching, reading music, emotionally, and in character – they are just so kind. These children have rehearsed very hard and I am excited and proud of the fantastic job these children have done. Anyone who comes to hear them will really enjoy the evening.”
The spectacular choral education program is a registered non-profit in Georgia. Its music, participants, supporters, and location comprise an incredible experience.
