The University Percussion Ensemble concerts are sure to bring an exciting evening of music to our guests. The students in the ensemble must learn to perform at a professional level and to rely on each other to perform their pieces. The percussion ensemble utilizes all the percussion equipment available and will amaze the audience with its complex rhythms. Stamina, and focus. There will also be performances from the jazz ensemble!
The Reinhardt University Choir is a select ensemble under the Director of Choral Activities. The group performs as part of the University performing arts series and in churches and schools throughout Georgia. In May 2018, the choir traveled to Italy where they studied music of the Renaissance with the organist of the Vatican, and performed in that prestigious venue and in other locations in the country.
Reinhardt University's talented students in the Theatre Program focus their studies on all aspects of theatre production – acting, directing, technical design and literary analysis. Rigorous rehearsals and intensive training not only prepare these students for careers in the field but also improve their ability to communicate effectively, to think creatively and to collaborate well with others. Performances will be held in the University Theater.
The North Georgia Youth Wind Symphony, co-directed by Mr. Dennis Naughton and Dr. Kerry Bryant, will host its second
season in Fall 2024. As the premier youth ensemble in the North Georgia community, the North Georgia Youth Wind Symphony at Reinhardt draws talented high school students throughout the region, providing positive and transformative musical experiences through high-quality instruction and exceptional music-making opportunities.
Dedicated to excellence, the Young Singers of Flint Hall Choir Program has a multifaceted purpose. Membership offers professional-level instruction in vocal technique, music theory, sight singing, ear training, and presentation as well as exposure to a variety of choral styles. Involvement also enhances young people’s lives, helping them to develop qualities of self-reliance, personal integrity, responsibility, compassion, and confidence in their abilities.
The University Christmas concerts never fails to draw large, festive crowds to each performance. These annual
performances feature the School of the Arts Choir and Wind Ensemble. Order tickets early for this event!
The Reinhardt University Wind Ensemble is comprised of Reinhardt students and community musicians who perform the finest large ensemble and chamber music literature, including world-premiere performances from today’s most innovative and exceptional composers. Collaborative programming showcases Reinhardt University’s student musicians interacting with the University’s outstanding faculty and visiting guest artists.

The University Opera program develops and prepares students for professional roles in opera. Public performances feature either individual scenes or fully staged operas. Students pursue rigorous vocal training to prepare for this career. Opera titles will be announced early in the fall and spring semesters.
