Reinhardt’s Falany Performing Arts Center created an event this summer to adapt to pandemic restrictions, while still allowing the community to come together safely and enjoy summer evenings outdoors. 
“6 Feet a Pod” is an event series hosted by the Falany Performing Arts Center and Reinhardt Athletics on the University’s Intramural Field in front of the Brown Athletic Center. Those looking for a fun evening of movies or live music can rent a pod for up to six guests. Pods will be spread out on the field to meet social distancing requirements.
“These events are a great way to get your family out of the house to have a good time, while maintaining health and safety precautions,” said Jessica Akers, director of the Falany Performing Arts Center.
All guests are encouraged to wear face masks, especially to be used when not seated in your pod.
Weeknight events host Kona Ice, and Friday events host food trucks.
