Five new Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializations programs launch in August 2025 at Reinhardt University through a partnership with Rize Education. Seed funding for these programs was provided by Google.org, which made awards to select members of the Lower Cost Models Consortium (LCMC). The LCMC is a group of small colleges and universities dedicated to lowering the cost of higher education through collaborative, cutting-edge programs.
Leveraging the grant to meet the evolving demands of the business landscape, Reinhardt introduces hybrid MBA specializations in critical areas, including artificial intelligence, business analytics, cybersecurity, finance, and healthcare administration. Developed in close collaboration with academic and industry experts, the new programs provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to shape the future of technology alongside the hands-on skills necessary to succeed in today’s job market.
Support for the Initiative
Dr. Mark A. Roberts, president of Reinhardt University, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are thrilled to join forces with Rize Education to provide a well-rounded education that equips our students with future-proof skills to succeed. This partnership enhances our existing online MBA program and offers innovative, career-oriented programs that prepare students to responsibly steward the future of their respective fields.”
Rize Education, a leading program-sharing provider, brings a wealth of expertise from working with over one hundred institutions in the LCMC. Their commitment to bridge the gap between traditional higher education and the demands of the modern workforce makes them an ideal collaborator. Together, the aim to create a unique educational experience that combines the best of both worlds is fulfilled.
“This initiative is transformative for liberal arts institutions like Reinhardt,” said Kevin Harrington, CEO and Co-founder of Rize Education. “It enables colleges to adapt quickly to the evolving educational and career landscape, providing students with valuable skills in growing fields while preserving the rich academic experiences these schools are known for.”
The funding from Google.org was instrumental in making these new degree programs a reality. “We are grateful to Google for their support of the LCMC,” said Dr. Roberts. “The grant has allowed us to take a bold step forward in reimagining higher education.”
“Rize and the LCMC have developed an incredible model of innovation that prepares students for fulfilling careers while preserving valuable components of a traditional college experience,” said Kim Roberts, a Director at Google.org.
