Reinhardt University and Waleska area churches will continue the annual Easter tradition of hosting a sunrise worship service. All are invited to join us for the service on Sunday, April 4 at 7 a.m.
The Easter Sunrise Service will be held at the Donor Plaza at the center of Reinhardt’s campus (across from the Hasty Student Life Center, next to the Bell Tower). As the sun rises, we will gather to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ through word, music, prayer and scripture.
“The Easter Sunrise Service has always been a special tradition of Reinhardt University,” said Josh Garner, campus pastor. “This year, as in previous years, we are honored to be partnering with the Waleska community and opening our campus to those who wish to celebrate Christ’s resurrection. Rev. Brian Smith, Campus Chaplain and Pastor of Waleska UMC, will be preaching and leading this years’ service. Brian is a gifted preacher and strong leader who has already strengthened the historic partnership of Waleska UMC and Reinhardt University. We certainly hope everyone can join us for this great service.”
Thank you to our church partners: Heritage Fellowship, Shoal Creek Baptist and Waleska United Methodist.
We ask those attending to wear masks and social distance. In case of inclement weather, the service will be canceled.
