Justin Mitchell ‘02 has rejoined the staff of Reinhardt University as director of institutional research & effectiveness. Mitchell previously worked at Reinhardt for six years before moving on to Berry College and Shorter University in a variety of capacities, including his most recent position as Shorter’s registrar.
In his role, he is tasked with providing leadership for institutional research and reporting, strategic, tactical and operational planning, program assessments, SACSCOC accreditation, institutional and organizational effectiveness and student learning outcomes.
While Mitchell has extensive experience working with the student information system, he plans to build on that experience to ensure accuracy, consistency and efficiency for all areas impacting institutional research data.
“I feel immensely grateful for the opportunity to be back at home at Reinhardt. Being here feels familiar and new at the same time, I am genuinely enjoying the position,” he said. “Reinhardt is providing an opportunity for me to use my experience for contributing toward the success of Reinhardt University.”
