Each year, Reinhardt University honors its heritage with the Annual United Methodist Scholarship Golf Outing. This event supports annual scholarships for students entering the ministry, the children of United Methodist Church (UMC) ministers and other UMC students.
Ninety-seven golfers enthusiastically hit the course on May 18 for the 29th Annual United Methodist Scholarship Golf Outing, hosted at Lake Arrowhead Yacht and Country Club in Waleska, GA.
Winners for the day included:
- Low net team: JoEllen Wilson, John Wilson, Jim Carlson and Becky Carlson
- Low gross team: George Weaver, Michael Jordan, Mike Denson and Robby Eaton
- The Longest Drive, Men’s: Jim Carlson
- The Longest Drive, Women’s: Becky Carlson
- Most Accurate Drive: Jerry Hood
- Closest to the Pin on all Par 3s: Eleanor Gibbons, Jim Carlson, David Melton and Collin Cotter
- Putting Contest: Vic Martin
