Reinhardt University celebrated its Price School of Education’s graduating class of Fall 2024 on December 1st. The ceremony was especially meaningful, as the pandemic prevented many of the class from having a high school graduation. Surrounded by family and friends, each received their diploma on the steps of the Paul W. Jones Hall.
Faculty expressed their pride and excitement and wished the students well on their journey as educators. Tami Smith, Director of Teacher Education commented, “The professors’ wish is that their dreams will stay big and their worries will stay small and that they never forget how much they are loved.”
A shared quote from writer Jodi Piccoult (American, b. 1966) read, “The fact that you worry about being a good teacher, means that you already are one.” Parting words from Smith, “Go and do great things” concluded the ceremony.
