Are you ready for a workout with a cause? Reinhardt is preparing for its 8th annual Born to Run 5K on Saturday, Oct. 29 at 8:00 a.m. The race starts and finishes at 130 East Main Street at Cannon Park in Downtown Canton. Registration is now open at www.reinhardt.edu/5k or at active.com!
The Born to Run 5K is Reinhardt’s effort to raise money for Cherokee Scholars Program which gives Cherokee County students attending Reinhardt University the opportunity to receive as much as $8,000 in scholarships. The annual 5K and the grant program is a win-win opportunity for Cherokee students to earn their Reinhardt degrees.
Pre-registration is open from now until Oct. 18. You will receive a free t-shirt, as well as a free drink ticket to be used at packet pick-up on Friday, Oct. 28, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Reformation Brewery in Canton.
