Red Cedar Review, an acoustic band specializing in folk, bluegrass and country-blues music, will perform at the Falany Performing Arts Center on Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m.
Based in Charleston, S.C., the group uses guitar, mandolin, upright bass, fiddle, percussion and vocal harmonies to create a unique style that invites the listener into stories.
“Come and enjoy an entertaining, toe tapping evening with Red Cedar Review at the Falany,” said Jessica Akers, director of the Falany Performing Arts Center. “Their musical storytelling, interspersed with outlaw and travel songs, will be fun for all ages.”
Last year Red Cedar Review released their debut album, “The Highway,” a mix of traditional bluegrass standards with guitarist/vocalist Brad Edwardson’s original songs.
Tickets are $25-$30 for adults, $20-$25 for seniors and $10 for children (12 and younger). Tickets can be purchased at Reinhardt.edu/falany or by calling the box office at 770-720-9167.
