The Reinhardt campus stays active during the summer, hosting a variety of summer camps for area youth.
June 2nd through June 8th, the Reinhardt Piano Festival and Academy offers an opportunity for talented high-school-age pianists to learn from world-class artists and attend masterclasses, workshops, and private lessons. An evening concert series by internationally renowned concert pianists takes place throughout the week.
The Musical Theatre Intensive camps develop young actors. The elementary and middle school sessions quickly filled up, but spots remain available in the high school camp July 6th through July 19th. The session, led by the Reinhardt University Theatre department, includes masterclasses, dance, voice, movement, acting classes, and rehearsals, culminating with a performance of Beetlejuice, Jr.
The Funk Heritage Center and Bennett History Museum offer half-day camps from June 23rd to the 27th and July 14th to the 18th, 2025. Participants ages 8 to 12 will explore native history, nature, Appalachian culture and folklore, and local arts traditions.
