Over 700 Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) students and coaches came to the Reinhardt University campus to learn lessons on faith and leadership this summer. An added blessing of holding these camps is that our own student-athletes worked as leaders and mentors.
FCA is a worldwide ministry with the mission to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. One of the ways they accomplish this mission during the summer is by hosting leadership and sport-specific camps across America. Over the past few years, Reinhardt has become one of the premier locations for these camps in North Georgia. In June and July, FCA hosted a Leadership Camp, a Running Camp, and Football Camp on the Waleska campus.
The partnership with FCA camps began through the leadership of Bill Queen who runs the Reinhardt FCA. Reinhardt FCA is one of the many ministries that make up Reinhardt Campus Ministries. Through Queen’s leadership, hundreds of Reinhardt student athletes get encouragement and support during their time on campus. His connections with FCA led to many chapters choosing Reinhardt as their camp location.
Reinhardt Campus Ministries is thankful for the partnership with FCA and the investment FCA is making into the next generation of leaders.
