For the first time in school history, Reinhardt University will offer a Winter Term, giving students the opportunity to earn additional credits toward graduation.
Registration for the new Winter Term will begin Oct. 21 and coincides with Spring Semester registration.
“We have students from different schools within the University who may want to expedite their degree track and complete a course in four weeks online, so we opted to pilot the Winter Term this year,” said Provost Mark Roberts. “If we find that students are participating and classes are filling up, we will look to make this a regular term each year.”
Classes for Winter Term include Art Appreciation, Introduction to Business/Entrepreneurship, Basic Computer Applications, Georgia Criminal Law, Inclusion Classroom (Education majors), Music Theory I, History of Rock ‘n’ Roll, American Government, and Football and American Culture.
The cost for Winter Term is $750. No additional fees will be charged for the piloted 2019 Winter Term. Financial Aid cannot be used.
Reinhardt students are not the only ones eligible to take Winter Term classes. Students from schools within College Consortium can take the classes offered. Transient students also can take Winter Term classes. For more information, visit Reinhardt.edu/Winter-Term.
