It is time to celebrate Reinhardt graduates! Following a year of postponed and virtual events, Reinhardt University will host its 134th and 135th Commencement ceremonies in person – with COVID health and safety protocols in place – to celebrate the achievements of the most recent graduating classes.
“The entire Reinhardt University community is excited to offer an in-person commencement to honor both the Class of 2020 and the Class of 2021,” said Dr. Mark Roberts, Interim President. “Our graduates have persisted despite great obstacles, and I am so thrilled that we can perform this important academic ritual.”
Reinhardt will host two Commencement ceremonies on May 7 at Ken White Stadium. The ceremonies will take place as follows:
May 7 at 9:30 a.m.: Fall/Mid-Fall 2020, Spring/Mid-Spring 2021 and Summer/Mid-Summer 2021 graduates
May 7 at 7 p.m.: Fall/Mid-Fall 2019, Spring/Mid-Spring 2020 and Summer/Mid-Summer 2020 graduates
Reinhardt University maintains COVID-19 protocols and will require these protocols during Commencement ceremonies. Each graduate will be able to secure four tickets to invite four guests to attend their designated ceremony. Tickets will be available through the ticketing system HomeTown Ticketing on the Reinhardt website commencement page. Guests will be seated in the bleachers at Ken White Stadium (bring your sunglasses for the morning ceremony!). Graduates will be seated in socially distanced chairs on the field. The event will be live-streamed for additional guests to support their graduates and view the ceremonies virtually.
Graduates and their families are traditionally invited to a Baccalaureate ceremony before Commencement. The Baccalaureate ceremony will be incorporated into both Commencement ceremonies.
