Reinhardt University is committed to community engagement and often works alongside the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce to support their initiatives focused on the citizens of Cherokee County. This year, Reinhardt is continuing its support of local teens in their leadership development.
The University is serving as a sponsor of the Teen Leadership Cherokee 2021 program. The program, hosted by the Cherokee Chamber of Commerce, selects teens from the county to gain knowledge and leadership skills to become future leaders in their communities.
The series of leadership classes include topics like community involvement, personal development, team building and education and economic responsibility.
At this year’s first meeting, admissions counselor Ivey Stang represented the University and shared the many opportunities Reinhardt University offers its students.
Reinhardt looks forward to seeing how these future leaders learn and grow.
