The Reinhardt University Cauble School of Nursing & Health Sciences continues to prove the extent of the nursing program’s credibility, with the most recent graduating nursing class passing the NCLEX with a 100% pass rate.
Following graduation, the next step for student nurses working to become Registered Nurses is taking the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), a nationwide exam required of all nurses to become licensed in their field.
“I am incredibly proud of the December graduates and their accomplishment of a 100% pass rate on their NCLEX exam,” said Dr. LeAnne Wilhite, dean of the Cauble School. “This speaks to their hard work and dedication, especially in the times we are in right now. It also is a reflection of the faculty and staff of the Reinhardt Cauble School of Nursing. They not only teach but inspire these students to be the best possible nurses they can be. I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Cauble SON team.”
The Cauble School held a two-part, virtual White Coat Ceremony at the newly constructed nursing campus in Jasper, Georgia, in the fall to celebrate the graduates. After graduating several cohorts of student nurses, Reinhardt’s Cauble School of Nursing and Health Sciences reports a 97.78% pass rate of the NCLEX. In addition to their courses and clinicals, which have been adapted to maintain health and safety protocols, Reinhardt’s student nurses are working alongside healthcare professionals to fight the spread of COVID-19. From working in the Student Health Center on campus with Nurse Kristy Hough to helping with vaccine administration, student nurses continue to gain unique perspectives and experience at local medical centers amid the pandemic.
