The Reinhardt experience paves the way for alumni achievements. 2023 graduate Judah Norman is no exception. The public now enjoys her fine-tuned talents, and she enthusiastically shares her journey.
Since receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theater degree, Norman has served as an entertainer and ambassador for the World of Coca-Cola, performed in her first professional production “A Christmas Tradition” at the Strand Theater in Marietta, and sang before an audience of approximately 25,000 people during Atlanta Black Music Month at a VMware corporate event. Rehearsing “Ruth and the Green Book” at the Center for Puppetry Arts represents her next opportunity to shine when it runs from January 31st to February 25th.
Throughout these successes, Norman remembers and appreciates her time as a Reinhardt student. She credits the diversity of classes offered, from script writing to set design, with making her well-equipped to pursue employment in the entertainment industry. She explains, “One of the main things my degree prepared me for was being versatile, being flexible, and able to adapt to just about any skill.”
“The most cherished part of Reinhardt for me is that it felt like a family and there was a strong community on campus. I will take that with me for the rest of my career and for the rest of my life,” Norman adds, “It means the world and I’m thankful beyond measure.” An exuberant video montage about her love of Reinhardt and the people she met along the way can be viewed here.
Norman graduated summa cum laude and with inductions into two honor societies. Her campus involvement included being President of the Black Student Union, Vice President of the Anime Club, a tutor in the Center for Student Success, and a member of the Coordinated Community Response Team, and the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee.
