Reinhardt University’s Office of Admission has simplified the process for students transferring to the University, providing an event to address questions, paperwork and decisions in one campus visit.
On June 18 and July 23 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., students interested in transferring to Reinhardt University will get the chance discuss everything involved in the admissions process. Students are invited to bring either official or unofficial documents to be evaluated. As long as students bring all necessary documents, the admissions team will be able to make a decision on the spot. If unofficial documents are presented and a student is accepted, it will be considered a conditional acceptance, according to Director of Admissions Lacey Satterfield.
“They can get a credit evaluation while they’re here and meet with financial aid, and then the school dean or an academic representative from each academic area will be available to meet with the student and help them see their path to completion here,” Satterfield said.
Satterfield recognizes the need for this type of event, as the transfer population among higher education is growing, and she wants to provide students with the knowledge they need to make that change a successful one.
“We want to do the best that we can and to provide those students with good service,” she said. “We know that for a lot of these students, what’s most important to them is how long it’s going to take for them to finish school and what their path to completion looks like.”
