Reinhardt University is inviting alumni and their families to come home to Reinhardt the first weekend in October for homecoming, You Will Be: HOME.
“Homecoming 2017 – You Will Be: HOME – is a time for alumni, students, parents and other friends come together to celebrate the home they have found at Reinhardt, and we hope our entire Cherokee County community, and others, will join in the celebration. Bring your experiences and memories to share, and encourage your friends and former classmates to be a part of the festivities,” said Tim Norton, vice president for advancement & marketing.
The alumni-centered weekend kicks off with Chanticleer in Flint Hall at Falany Performing Arts Center. Called “the world’s reining male chorus” by New Yorker, the GRAMMY Award-winning ensemble will take the stage in Flint Hall at 8 p.m., on Oct. 6. Tickets are available at Reinhardt.tix.com.
Get fired up with the Eagles from 8-10 p.m. Friday at the Fieldhouse Walkway with a bonfire and pep rally before the big game against University of the Cumberlands Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. Before the game, the Student Government Association will present the Captain A.M. Reinhardt Award and the Jason Gamel Blue and Gold Spirit Award. At halftime, the 2017 Homecoming Court will be presented, and the King and Queen will be crowned.

Alumni and friends will enjoy a southern chicken and waffle brunch in Bannister Glasshouse from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. for only $10 per person – children under 12 free. The hearty brunch will include chicken tenders, waffles, southern-made grits, scrambled eggs, fruit medley, coffee and juices.
