Welcome to the Hill Freeman Library and Spruill Learning Center

Finding relevant, current and accurate information can be a complex and time-consuming task in today’s dynamic world of print, electronic and digital information. Knowing where to begin, how to gather, and how to evaluate and effectively use information is a critical and valued skill in our rapidly changing world.

The Reinhardt library and its staff can help you get started and will support you along the way. The library staff, services and collections of print and digital resources are designed to support the University’s academic programs and enrich your learning experience. Whether you visit the library in person or enter over the library web site, the Hill Freeman Library and Spruill Learning Center is a great place to begin any research project.

Donating to the Library

Monetary Donations

The Hill Freeman Library and Spruill Learning Center welcome monetary contributions. The current “information age” has seen both rapid increases in the publication of scholarly materials and the demand for access to these resources. Unfortunately, the cost of providing these publications has risen as well.

Your generous gifts help the library continue to provide the best resources to support our students, faculty, and staff in their academic endeavors. For information about how you can contribute financially to the library’s mission, please contact the Office of University Advancement at 770.720.5507 or advancement@reinhardt.edu.

Gifts of Books or Media

Gifts of books or media are encouraged with the understanding that the library may choose to add or dispose of gifts at its discretion. Gifts are evaluated using the same criteria for purchased materials. In accordance with Internal Revenue Service rulings, the library assumes no responsibility for the appraisal of gift items nor can the library accept gift items with restricted conditions. A gift acknowledgement letter confirming the number of items given can be requested at the time the gift is received. Please contact Shannon Gibson for further information at 770.720.5585 or shannon.gibson@reinhardt.edu.
