Live on Campus

Living on campus is an essential part of college life. It helps you adapt to student life, connects you with faculty, and provides many chances to make friends. You’ll also have access to activities and resources, boosting your odds of success.

To ensure everyone has a good start at Reinhardt University, all first-year students must live on campus in one of our halls. After your first year, if you get 50% or more of your tuition paid for by Reinhardt University, you also need to stay on campus. This helps you get the most out of your time here and ensures that you have a chance to become a part of our close-knit community.

These devices are prohibited from being stored and/or charged inside any University facility including academic buildings and residence halls. Personal mobility devices such as wheelchairs (manual and power), mobility scooters, knee scooters, or other mobility devices prescribed by a physician which are used due to a disability are excluded from this policy. To be clear, e-scooters and e-micro-mobility devices should not be brought on to campus under any circumstances and may be confiscated if seen by Residence Life or Public Safety. In addition, there will be a $175 fine for e-scooters and e-micro-mobility devices found on campus.
  • Decorating Room Policy – Students can decorate their assigned residence hall rooms. We recommend painters tape to hang decorations and all room personalization. We also recommend using mounting putty as it does not usually remove paint or cause damage to walls. Please test the putty product on one area of your wall before using in multiple areas. Adhesives such as 3M strips, screws, staples, tacks, nails are not permitted. LED strip lights and string lights are not permitted to be mounted or attached to walls or furniture, as they can damage the walls and furnishings. Residents will be held financially responsible for any damage caused by items placed in rooms.
  • Alcohol and Drug Free Campus Policy – The use, possession, sale, and/or acting under the influence of alcoholic beverages or illicit/illegal drugs (including possession of drug paraphernalia) on Reinhardt University property is strictly prohibited.

There will be a $150 fine for an unapproved animal/pet found in the residence hall. Students wanting/needing to request an emotional support animal must seek approval by contacting the Academic Support Office (ASO) to submit such a request at Academic Support Office Programs & Services – Reinhardt University.
