The Master of Arts in Pedagogy-Only is intended for those who have demonstrated content expertise in one of the teaching areas for middle grades (4-8), secondary (6-12), and all P-12 fields (except Elementary Education, Special Education, and Reading).

Graduates of this program will receive a recommendation for an initial teaching certificate with a master’s degree level (T5) compensation.

With the Master’s in the Art of Teaching (MAT) Pedagogy-Only program, you will receive a recommendation for an initial teaching certificate with an advanced degree resulting in a (T5) compensation. Admissions Requirements

  1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with an undergraduate cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale).
  2. All college transcripts must be submitted to the university.
  3. Two letters of recommendation
  4. Resume
  5. Documentation of completed Georgia Educator Ethics Assessment Completion Certificate
  6. Clear Background Check (completion after all documentation is submitted and university will perform the check with candidate permission)
